Pauline Fowler was born in Liverpool in 1957 and grew up in Africa. Her love of nature was founded on Gerald Durrell’s books. She has an MA from the Royal College of Art, where she was mentored and encouraged to study animal forms by the late Eduardo Paolozzi. Pauline is now a professional sculptor in the film business and has recently embarked on a photographic journey. She works with multiple applied layers of photographs to create one piece, often photographing her own watercolours for use as part of the layering process.
