Paul Jenkins was born in the West Midlands in 1949. He started his career in art in the early 70's sculpting in wood and then clay and wax.
He went on to study ceramics at Dudley College of Art and within five years had a growing customer base that included galleries and private collectors.
Paul has worked as commercial designer for various companies around the world including the Metropolitan Museum in New York, where he was commissioned to reproduce the exact size, shape and colour of a rare l850's tea pot exhibited at the museum.
Paul has also sculpted several pieces for the National Trust which were presented to people for their outstanding contributions within the trust.
Paul's Inspirations come from his love of nature especially animals. Many of his pieces are inspired from direct observations of wild animals in their natural habitat.
