Born in 1959. Matthew holds an MA in Holography from Royal College of Art, London. He is President of The Lost Arts Foundation, Deputy General Secretary of the Olympian Arts Trust and M.D. of Interlace 4D Ltd.
A self-taught Photographer and Holographer, he went on to get an MA in Holography from the Royal College of Art in London in 1989, winning The Prudential Award for Holography and a John Downs Trust Award.
Matthew has produced 3D and animated images commercially and artistically over the last 20 years, using Stereo Photography, Holography and Lenticular Imaging. He is however now concentrating particularly on Lenticulars for both his own artworks and commissions.
His recent art works are about finding out exactly where the line is drawn between what is considered ‘fine art’, what is thought of as ‘design’ and what is considered to be simply a manufacturing process.
