Born in 1956 in Inverkip, Scotland. Louis McNally attended Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen between 1986 and 1990, graduating with a BA Hons.
A regular finalist in the ‘Nobel Grossart’, Scotland on Sunday Art Prize.
A very distinctive and recognisable style of oil painting. They evoke a magical, mystical and somewhat haunting atmosphere.
Exhibited extensively throughout the UK. His work is often show at the Royal Glasgow Institute of Art and the RSA. It can be found in many private and public collections worldwide.
Public collections include Standard Life, Homes and Gardens Mazagine and the Institute of American Museums - Washington.
