Elaine Peto graduated from Exeter College of Art and Design. She opened her studio in Hampshire in 1987. Since than she has made a reputation for herself sculpting animals. Most of her subjects are agricultural animals and hares, but occasionally she works on exotic wild animals such as elephants, giraffes and antelopes. Each piece is full of vitality and captures the spirit of the animal. Elaine’s creations are not static copies from life – they capture life itself.
