Born in Canada in 1952, Dawn moved to England as a small child. She trained and worked as a Graphic Designer for 17 years before returning to sculpture and painting.
She produces mainly bronze sculptures based on families and relationships.
‘There is a myriad of feelings and emotions depicting relationships that I wish to explore, both dependent and inter-dependent’.
Her current work is a series of horse and child pieces.
‘It is important that the viewer explores for him/herself what the meaning is and how it relates to them’.
Dawn produces small pieces and also large scaled up pieces for outside. In addition, she produces work to commission.
Her work is in collections in USA, New Zealand, England and Europe.
