A self-taught artist from Norfolk, Chris now lives in South-East London, combining his two main passions – as a professional artist and also as Senior Programmes Officer for the Born Free Foundation, specializing in the conservation of endangered species. Shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year awards 2010 and 2011, his reputation continues to grow internationally, selling to collectors worldwide. Chris has had very successful one-man shows at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham and cueB gallery, London.
He has made regular sales at the annual National Exhibition of Wildlife Art in Chester since 2005, is an Associate of The Society of Feline Artists and was awarded a Gold Citation by The Wildlife Art Society International in 2010. He has recently been invited to become a signature member of Artists for Conservation. Part of his commitment to protecting endangered species includes donating a percentage of his art profits to Born Free’s project work to help keep wildlife where it belongs – in the wild.
